Frequently asked questions

Do you accept returns?

The short answer--no. However if there is any issue at all with your purchase, let me know ASAP so we can work together to figure out the next step.

What's a PDF/pattern?

A PDF or pattern is an automatic download so you can stitch the pattern yourself! Patterns come with an image of the finished design, a color block pattern, suggested materials and my own tips and tricks. Nothing will be physically sent to you and no, a PDF or pattern is not the same as a finished cross stitch.

Do you take custom orders?

I sure do! But please note, I reserve the right to decline any custom order due to my own morals, ethics and skill set. More specifically, I will not accept anything that includes hate speech of any kind, religion or anything spooky/horror themed (ya girl hates spooky).

Due to busy seasons I do have to close custom orders from time to time. The easiest way to find out if customs are open is to check my bio on instagram. Find me at @CryBabyCrossStitch

How much are custom orders?

Custom orders vary on a bunch of factors such as size, fabric, intricacy of design and if any additional materials are needed. I totally understand needing to stay within a budget, so if thats you, shoot me a message with all the details including your budget. All custom orders require a minimum $30 down payment before the pattern designing stage.

It costs this much, for that?!

Yes. I'm super fortunate enough for CryBaby Cross Stitch to be my full time job. With that being said, cross stitching is a specialized skill that has taken years and plenty of trial and error for me to perfect. It's a labor of love that requires hours of one-on-one time, and thats worth something.

With that being said, I do understand that people assign different values to different things and that's totally okay! So if thats the case, cross stitch just might not be the right medium for you.
